We are a team of developers and finance enthusiasts who love to be right on numbers while work hard towards growing our ideas. Most of us form the team behind MyPhoneData Softwares – applications that let your backup, extract and recover data from iOS devices. Mid of 2013 was when we started touching 6 digit monthly downloads and customers for over 15 different iOS recovery softwares. What we wanted was an answer to this simple question:-
Over what period of time does the product sales for any product justify its total one time and running costs, or what’s the break-even point for each product.
Turned out that there was not a single tool that could let us view all of our product sales and expenses even though we did all transactions through a single payment gateway – PayPal. So, we started building a tool that could do all of this and we could use internally within MyPhoneData. Once we were done building and started using it, the practicality and sheer amount of value that it started adding to our business was immense and there were no second thoughts about not making a product out of it.

We aim to deliver real-time, fortune-500 class analytics and reporting to > 10 million PayPal merchants.
How it works
PaySketch connects to ones PayPal account instantly and starts getting transactions by talking to PayPal servers over secure HTTPS protocol. Its analytics engine kicks in too and starting showing both high level and in-depth data points in real time. Once setup completes, users get to run and download reports on multiple verticals such as sales, payments, products, customers and countries.
